Yeah I had In-N-Out once, it was ok enough.

St. Johns is a great burger place just off 101, around Santa Clara. Good programming bookshop nearby also.

If you only went once you probably didn't get anything from the 'secret' off-menu. That's part of the In-N-Out experience.
