Well, there is the problem that a lot of people don't have things they actually want to work on. They don't know how to self actualize and/or don't want to spend brain cycles on things.
There never was one. I'm from computing science field and it's all been and is normal. Amusing, maybe, but normal. Same as before, but in larger scale, with occasional hype. People picking up useful things and using them. Some going insane.
If I had to pick a surprise, I think the music generation works better than I'd have expected at this point. Only better for funk, but still.
No, every means every. You have a tiny tiny fragment of every protocol that could ever exist or even of the ones that do. And you can't even potentially do many real protocols on an ESP. It's a tiny tiny subset. I'd suggest being honest.
